Job location: Paris, France / Berlin, DE / Munich, DE / Köln, DE. Only candidates with a valid work permit in the country for which the position resides will be considered.

Since Alma's creation in 2018, its growth has been exponential: every month, hundreds of new merchants adopt our solutions and thousands of new customers use Alma for the first time.

As of today, Alma works with 19000+ merchants across 10 different European countries, and the acquisition of new Mid-Market accounts in the international markets is one of our pivotal focuses.

As an Account Executive Mid-Market for the DACH market, you will support all merchants who express their wish to install Alma’s solutions and discover their own challenges. This is for you the opportunity play a crucial role in expanding our customer base and contribute directly to Alma’s sales success.

 

About the mission

As an Account Executive Mid-Market working for the DACH market, your main responsibilities include:

- Managing the entire sales cycle (for both Outbound & Inbound) of new Mid-Market accounts (turnovers between €10M-€250M) from prospecting, leads qualification to negotiation and contract signature.

- Engaging with C-Level Executives, acting as a trusted advisor to navigate their challenges and demonstrate the value of Alma’s solutions.

- Representing Alma at trade shows and conferences in the DACH Region and Europe.

- Contributing to the optimisation of internal processes to support Alma's scalability.

- Maximizing Alma’s take rate by ensuring activated merchants are fully optimized.

 

About you

Your Experience :

- You have 4-6 years of relevant experience in similar roles, with a proven track record in B2B mid-market software sales.

- You are native German and fluent in English.

- You have excellent communication skills.

- You have in-depth knowledge of navigating the full sales cycle, from prospecting to closing, with experience in negotiation and contract signing.

- Entrepreneurial mindset: You spot opportunities for growth, suggest a plan to address them, and execute it. You’re able to work independently without a ton of established structure or processes.

- Hunter mindset: You have a proven track record in outbound sales, being in the top 10% sellers in your team.

- Excellent analytical mindset.

- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

- Well organized with a structured approach.

 

What would make you stand out from the crowd?

- You have experience(s) in the Payment / BNPL / E-commerce industry / Saas

- You have already worked in a early-stage startup or in launching a new offer for the DACH region.
