Your Mission
We are looking for a Communications Manager to build BlaBlaCar’s corporate and consumer communication strategy and lead its successful execution in Spain, one of the historical and key markets for BlaBlaCar. You will work with the Global Communications Team, and local leadership to define and coordinate the right positioning and messages for the company in Spain.
Your Responsibilities:
Work with different local and international team members to build a communication strategy that echoes the Spanish market's different needs (business lines objectives, marketing strategy, branding, government relations, etc.).Define the relevant communication positioning and deliver its roll-out, balancing the HQ-led guidance, with the specific local needs you will identify with the local leadership (mainly our Head of Marketplace in Spain)Build the corporate, B2B, and consumer PR strategy supporting the company’s objectives, using the comprehensive channel mix Be a local spokesperson and conduct media interviews with other local spokespersons, prepare speaking notes and key messages that reflect communication objectivesIdentify opportunities and prepare press releases, op-eds and other copywriting materials that help to build brand awareness and support business objectives Manage the local PR agency to set up objectives, collect ideas and track results/performance Ensure consistency of the communication plan (brand voice and messages) roll out across channels (PR, but also syncing with marketing, customer service, government relations, etc.)Your Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in communications & PR, ideally in the digital, mobility or marketplace (C2C) industriesPerfect Spanish and fluent (spoken and written) in EnglishStrong knowledge and experience in building a robust communication strategy, including positioning and crisis managementStrong knowledge of the Spanish press and media landscape (including social media)Nice to have: social media experience, content creation - including expertise on image and video tools.Excellent ability to create content and articulate messages to the right audienceExcellent ability to understand and use business inputs to build a strong PR strategy serving the company’s needsWhat we have to offer:
