Your Mission
We are looking for an HR Country Specialist (Poland) to join the People team at BlaBlaCar. Working closely with the Management team in Poland, your role will be to implement the HR strategy in Poland, within your scope of responsibilities. You will be reporting to Perrine Labesse Head of People Operations, Data & Systems and working with a team of HR Country Specialists (Brazil, Ukraine & France) & system experts. The People team overall is composed of around 25 employees.
Your responsibilities
HRMonitor and ensure compliance with local labor laws and staff regulationsPartner effectively with managers to understand their priorities and provide expert advice and innovative solutions on all aspects of human resources policy issuesProvide effective guidance and support to all employees on employee relations, compensation/benefits, and general HR issuesManage People Operations (Support Employee onboarding & offboarding; Prepare contracts and amendments, leaves, staff attendance ..) Sending variable pay elements and payroll control Adapt existing global policies and procedures to the requirements of local legal law (creating new one according to the needs)Support the deployment of global policies locally (e.g BlaBlaNomad; Parental leave) & tools (e.g Ticketing tool) where applicableUpdate HR data in the HRIS - Workday Manage Staff monthly HR Tracking SheetsConfidentially and securely maintain records of all HR informationParticipate in cross-functional HR projectsEngagementOrganise local events/initiatives to keep employees engagedSupport the deployment of global initiatives locally (e.g Impact Day, Be The Member Day ..) Send regular communications on proposed initiatives Striving to continuously improve office conditions and level of comfortOffice Administration Cooperation with suppliers: finding providers for the local office needs and managing the relationship including contract, requisitions creating, invoices gathering Supporting employees with supplies requestsExpenses tracking and budget preparationManaging courier delivery within country and abroad, office relocationsCoordination of IT equipment stock, contact person for local IT management (servers, switches, IT providers, all kinds of equipment checks)Your qualifications
At least 3 years of experience as HR admin officerExperience in HR policies and practicesStrong organizational and problem-solving skillsKnowledge of Workday is a strong advantageExcellent communication skills Thriving in a collaborative, fast-growing and innovative environmentAbility to take ownership, aligned with business priorities Full working proficiency in English and PolishExperience with employment of foreigners (legal matters) is a nice to haveFit with our BlaBlaPrinciples
