🚀 We’re Hiring: LC-MS Analytical Development Specialist | Shape the Future of Biotech

We’re looking for a LC-MS Analytical Development Specialist to become our go-to expert in Mass Spectrometry and help drive forward cutting-edge analytical solutions.

🌟 About the Role

As our in-house LC-MS expert, you'll lead analytical development projects centered on oligonucleotide analysis and other biomolecules, using state-of-the-art UPLC/UV, UPLC/MS (SQ, Q-ToF), and capillary electrophoresis systems. Your work will directly support the development of novel therapeutics and tools for the life sciences.

This is a highly visible role within the company—one where your technical leadership will contribute not just to project success, but to the standardization, innovation, and scalability of our analytical practices.

🧪 What You’ll Do

  • Lead the development and validation of new analytical methods (sample prep, UPLC/MS, etc.) and improve existing ones.

  • Manage oligonucleotide sample analysis, collaborating closely with R&D teams to interpret multi-technique results.

  • Take part in routine and high-throughput analyses, supporting projects across the company.

  • Drive method transfer to QC and ensure robustness for future scale-up.

  • Own instrument performance: maintenance, qualification, SOPs, logbooks, and system suitability testing.

  • Author high-quality protocols and technical reports, and contribute to scientific reviews and continuous learning.

  • Promote cross-team collaboration and act as an analytical science ambassador within the organization.

🧬 What We’re Looking For

Must-Haves:

  • MSc or equivalent in Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related field.

  • 5+ years’ experience in analytical development using LC/MS (low and high resolution) on biomolecules.

  • Deep expertise in UHPLC and mass spectrometry data analysis, including software tools.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills – French and English proficiency required.

  • Self-motivated and team-oriented with a hands-on, proactive mindset.

Nice-to-Haves:

  • PhD in Analytical Chemistry

  • Industry experience (biotech, pharma, start-up environments)

  • Familiarity with automation, SPE, and liquid handling robotics
