Working in the tech team at Doctolib involves building innovative products and features to improve the daily lives of care teams and patients. We work in feature teams in an agile environment, while collaborating with product, design, and business teams.

What you'll do

The cross-platform experience team is pioneering Doctolib's evolution into a unified Healthcare Operating System used by millions of patients and tens of thousands of practitioners across Europe. As an Engineering Manager, you'll lead a brand new team of 6 Software Engineers to revolutionize our frontend architecture and create the technical foundation that will accelerate innovation across our entire product ecosystem.

Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Lead and manage a team of 6 Software Engineers, providing coaching, mentoring, and fostering their professional growth
  • Define the component strategy and technical standards for Doctolib's entire frontend ecosystem, creating a unified development framework
  • Drive the evolution of our React/TypeScript-based frontend architecture to support scalability and flexibility across all products
  • Collaborate closely with Product Managers, architecture teams, and system design experts to ensure technical coherence and integration
  • Establish development frameworks and best practices that standardize development across teams and create consistent user experiences
  • Build and maintain a reusable component ecosystem that significantly accelerates our capacity for innovation

Who you are

You could be our next team mate if you:

  • Have at least 5+ years of software engineering experience with 3+ years in engineering management, leading distributed product development teams
  • Possess strong technical expertise in React/TypeScript and frontend architecture, with proven experience building scalable component systems
  • Have demonstrated experience in defining technical standards and frameworks that span multiple teams and products
  • Show proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including Product, Design, and Architecture
  • Are fluent in English and French

Now, it would be fantastic if you:

  • Have experience with cross-platform development and creating unified user experiences across multiple platforms
  • Have worked in healthcare technology or other regulated industries
  • Have experience with design systems and component libraries at enterprise scale
  • Have managed technical transformations or platform migrations in previous roles
  • Have experience working in international, multi-country product environments
