Senior Software Engineer at Doctolib

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join the Clinical and Financial domain team in Paris.
As a Senior Software Engineer, your mission will be to work on user access rights/control access and our Desktop Version (DDV), which is central to our product as it is used by thousands of practitioners every day. You will be working in a feature team developing solutions that improve the daily lives of care teams and patients.
Working in the tech team at Doctolib involves building innovative products and features to improve the daily lives of care teams and patients. We work in feature teams in an agile environment, while collaborating with product, design, and business teams.
Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define and implement features to improve healthcare access for patients
  • Take a leading role within the team and contribute to establishing a technical vision that ensures the performance, security, and usability of the application
  • Bring your expertise and past experiences to help us continuously improve the way we design, implement, test and monitor high-quality features
  • Improve the performance of key features implemented in React, TypeScript, NodeJS and Ruby on Rails, sometimes completely challenging the status quo
  • Contribute to establishing a technical vision and co-drive the creation of the roadmap for next quarters

  • Our solutions are built on a single fully cloud-native platform that supports web and mobile app interfaces, multiple languages, and is adapted to the country and healthcare specialty requirements. To address these challenges, we are modularizing our platform run in a distributed architecture through reusable components.
  • Our stack is composed of Rails, TypeScript, Java, Python, Kotlin, Swift, and React Native.

Who you are

Before you read on — if you don't meet all the requirements below, but you believe this opportunity matches your expectations and experience, we still encourage you to apply!
  • You have at least 5/6 years of full-stack software engineering experience. Our stack is React, Typescript, NodeJS and Ruby but any experience with similar frameworks is welcomed and valued. An experience with Electron is a bonus
  • You have experience with high-traffic web applications and feel comfortable to work in hybrid environments (legacy monolith and modern distributed systems)
  • You have a "user first" mindset and want to build a product focused on bringing value to its users, through secure, well-tested and pragmatic code
  • You are very focused on code quality and have a rigorous testing culture
  • You are proactive, curious, collaborative and eager to learn
  • You are fluent in English
