Job Description

Mission

The position is located within the Analytics team in the Data department. Your role will involve collaborating with other Data Analysts to cover the analytical needs of the Commerce & Operations Department. You will play a key role in two of ManoMano's main objectives:

  • Develop the perfect offer for our customers, ensuring that each of their needs in DIY, home living, and gardening can be found in ManoMano’s catalog.
  • Deliver excellent customer experience and aim to become a leader in this area.

To achieve these objectives, the data analysis team provides strong insights, creating and improving powerful reports for stakeholders to monitor performance, progress, and make informed decisions.

Key Responsibilities

Data Modelization and Analysis:

  • Carry out complex analyses based on the ManoMano database, responsible for the entire process from data collection and cleaning to calculation and data visualization.
  • Analyze various topics within the Commerce & Operations department
  • Sales analysis by product category
  • Competitiveness of the catalog versus competitors
  • Quality of product information analysis
  • GenAI automations
  • Delivery promise analysis
  • Process improvement impact analysis
  • Customer experience drivers
  • Seller quality

Performance Monitoring:

  • Define, integrate into dashboards, and interpret key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Build dashboards to support and guide decision-making.
  • Centralize, own, and maintain the KPIs catalog.
  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and guarantee reliability.
  • Act as the point of contact for reporting requests and performance measurement implementation, assessing feasibility and prioritizing requests.
  • Conduct deep-dive analyses of KPI variances over time to identify root causes.

As part of the ManoMano data team, you will be highly involved in improving our data usage in collaboration with other teams (data science, data engineering, etc.).

Who You Are:

  • You want to manage cross-functional operational topics, push projects forward to deliver measurable and meaningful results, and solve problems from both strategic and detailed perspectives.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor degree +5 graduated from a Engineering School (or equivalent university education with an analytical background).
  • 2+ years of relevant experience in an analytical, reporting, or data-related position, ideally within a scale-up, eCommerce, or marketplace platform.
  • Strong Excel and SQL literacy.
  • Experience working with a BI solution (Tableau, Qlik, etc.) is a plus.
  • Passion for data analysis, data visualization, and optimization.
  • Strong analytical and detail-oriented mindset with a customer-centric vision.
  • Full autonomy in problem-solving.
  • Ability to synthesize and explain analyses.
  • Team player with the ability to drive collaboration with both business and tech partners.
  • Creative mindset to identify solutions and shortcuts.
