📝 Your job
Job Summary:
Translational Research is a pivotal group at Resilience, dedicated to enhancing the scientific credibility of our data, producing robust analyses to support interactions with health authorities, and driving engagement with the scientific and medical communities in oncology, immunology, and psychiatry.
As Senior Director, Translational Research - Predictive Modeling & Digital Phenotyping, you will report to and work closely with the Chief Medical Officer (CMO) to define and implement a strategic roadmap that leverages Resilience’s unique access to real-world data (RWD), digital biomarkers, and RPM technologies. Your mission is to advance precision medicine through the development of predictive models and digital phenotyping approaches that improve early detection, disease monitoring, and personalization of care.
Your daily responsibilities & routine:
Define and implement the translational research strategy for predictive modeling and digital phenotyping, in alignment with the CMO and product leadership.
Lead the discovery and validation of digital phenotypes (e.g. behavioral, cognitive, physiological) from real-world and digital data streams.
Collaborate with data science, clinical operations, product management, regulatory affairs, bioinformatics, and medical teams to convert insights into actionable features.
Apply AI/ML, signal processing, and time-series modeling techniques to continuous, high-dimensional data (wearables, smartphone use, passive monitoring).
Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory guidelines and Good Clinical Practice (GCP).
Communicate research strategies and findings internally and externally, including at scientific conferences.
Act as a key liaison with Medical Affairs to align translational efforts with the company’s scientific publication strategy.
Your perimeter :
Leading the design, development, and validation of predictive models that leverage multi-modal data (e.g., PROs, wearable data, behavioral signals, EHR) to support early detection, stratification, and intervention.
Driving translational research efforts to identify digital phenotypes and clinically meaningful patient trajectories using advanced modeling techniques.
Leading the integration of AI/ML-based digital biomarkers into care and research workflows, with a focus on psychiatry, oncology, and chronic conditions.
✨ Your Team
You Will Work Closely With:
Medical Affairs, to generate and coordinate impactful scientific publications and congress presentations.
Clinical Development, to support regulatory interactions (e.g., EMA, FDA), particularly for submissions involving RWD.
Life Sciences Partnerships, to produce evidence aligned with the needs of industry collaborators (pharmaceutical, biotech, medtech).
Product and Data Science teams, to translate research outputs into scalable, compliant, and clinically meaningful product features.
2️⃣ What you'll bring
⚙️ You'll definitely have:
PhD, MD, or PharmD, in computational neuroscience, machine learning, digital health, behavioral science, or related disciplines strongly preferred; MSc with relevant experience also considered.
5+ years of experience in translational research, predictive modeling, digital phenotyping or applied ML in health contexts within pharma, biotech, medtech, or academia (with strong industry partnerships).
-
Demonstrated success in developing and validating predictive models or digital biomarkers, ideally deployed in real-world or clinical settings.
🙂 You are the right person if you:
Have strong interpersonal and leadership skills, with a proven ability to work cross-functionally.
Have excellent communication skills and the ability to convey complex scientific topics to diverse audiences.
-
Are fluent in both English and French
This role combines deep scientific rigor with an applied innovation mindset, offering the opportunity to shape the future of evidence generation in oncology, psychiatry, and chronic disease management.
💛 Resilience is for you if you...
want to join a mission-driven team dedicated to transforming patient care through cutting-edge digital health solutions. You’ll directly impact patient outcomes and contribute to groundbreaking clinical innovations—within a supportive, inclusive environment grounded in trust, humility, and excellence.
