Job Description

We are looking for a driven and motivated individual to create Superprof’s Icelandic market.

Working directly with management in a freelance position, the role will cover the whole spectrum of the management and development of the company in Iceland : steering the SEO strategy, competitive intelligence, mergers and acquisitions, and possibly the eventual management of a team.

We have all the skills in-house, so the knowledge transfer will be straightforward.

To launch Superprof Iceland :

  • Translate and adapt the texts on www.superprof.fr to the Icelandic market, as well as templates that will be sent to Superprof users.

  • Support the configuration of the service (setting up cities, subjects, school, and extracurricular levels, etc.)

  • Suggest operational improvements (simplification of processes, automation)

To develop business in the Icelandic market:

  • Define strategy and priorities (business model, acquisitions, objectives) ●

  • Communicate about the project in the media

  • Manage the SEO strategy to improve Superprof Iceland’s ranking on search engines

  • Manage the market

  • Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction through email, telephone, and social networks

  • Help our tutors submit the best advertisements through photos and texts

  • Facilitate contact between teachers and students — Adapt changes from the French site to the Iceland’s site

Preferred Experience

  • Excellent knowledge of the country and culture of Iceland

  • Fluent in Icelandic and English, proficiency in French is a huge plus

  • You are familiar with the web, its culture, and its technical fundamentals

  • You are proactive, reactive, and quickly autonomous

  • You want to work in a start-up, and you like working in a team

  • You want to see a project through from start to finish and ensure that your market evolves and progresses

  • You like taking on big challenges, you're curious, and you have a real desire to learn

  • You have excellent written and verbal communication skills

Recruitment Process

  • A third video call might take place if further clarification is needed
