About

Wandercraft provides equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age or disability.

At Wandercraft we pioneer intelligent robotics to help people do what they can’t do. We apply the most advanced robotics and AI to expand what’s possible for humans in the fields of healthcare and now industry.

Founded in 2012, Wandercraft is globally recognized for creating the world’s first self-balancing walking exoskeleton, Atalante X, which is used in more than 100 rehabilitation centers across four continents helping individuals with disabilities re-learn how to walk, with over a million steps taken each month.

Building on over a decade of real-world experience and a proprietary neural network trained on billions of steps, we’re bringing mobility beyond clinical settings and into the home. Our personal exoskeleton, Eve, is a first-of-itskind device designed to assist wheelchair users in standing and walking in everyday life.

Now we’re expanding our platform to support industrial and assistive tasks with the Calvin family of humanoid robots. Built in just 40 days, Calvin-40 is designed to relieve factory workers from hazardous labor. Future versions of Calvin will assist persons with reduced autonomy in their daily activities.

Our growth into home and industrial robotics opens new horizons while reinforcing our ability to scale innovation, improve reliability, and accelerate our impact, across our entire portfolio of products and industries.

From Paris and New York, our team of over 110 engineers, clinicians, researchers, and operators is united by one mission: to design robotics that improve human life, wherever people need them most!

We’re not just hiring people: we’re building a team of pioneers, curious minds and problem solvers who want to change the world, step by step.

Join us to shape the next generation of medical and humanoid robotics powered by AI and purpose.

Job Description

Wandercraft is looking for a dynamic and highly motivated Operations Manager to lead the expansion of our hubs across the US. The company has opened its first hub, a PT-owned clinic to deliver Atalante X treatment and patient trainings for Eve. in NYC in 2025. It now intends to replicate this pioneering model, opening multiple hubs across the US over the next couple of years.

Reporting to the VP Business Development US & Americas, this role is a hybrid of strategic planning and hands-on execution, requiring strong project management, operational expertise, and relationship-building skills. It is an extraordinary multidisciplinary position: you’ll be instrumental in partnering with Market Access and collaborating with internal (finance, marketing, clinical, HR, IT) and external stakeholders to launch and sustain new clinics and retail spaces that reflect our brand values of community, hospitality, and innovation. Hubs are more than a distribution channel: they are our proxy to patients, our reason to be as a company.

You’ll be responsible for taking each location from concept to opening day and setting them up for success post-launch to redefine rehabilitation care in the US. You will need to spend significant time at our NYC flagship hub to fully immerse yourself in our branding and culture, and to replicate it successfully in other locations. You will also expected to travel extensively on site to each hub, spending any required amount of time there to ensure success in the form of fully operational, market serving hubs.

You’re comfortable managing timelines, budgets, and vendors as well as willing to do physical tasks such as painting, building furniture, lifting heavy objects, and using power tools. You bring creativity and a sharp eye for design, ensuring the clinics and exoskeleton showrooms feel welcoming, professional, and aligned with the Wandercraft and Walk In clinic brands.

You have a knack for breaking down large, ambiguous problems into clear, actionable steps. You thrive in environments where you can take initiative and build from the ground up, and solve unexpected challenges with creativity and efficiency.
