We are looking for an intern to join our dynamic EU brand marketing team to help organize, plan, and execute the Withings brand & booth experience during our largest marketing tradeshow of the year, the Consumer Electronics Show . This person will help with operational and organizational topics related to the planning & press relations of this event.
This is a key role in the marketing team, which will have a direct and measurable impact on the company's success, and help the company execute a strong product launch. The right candidate will be an enthusiastic, friendly, and kind person with a strategic mind, and excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
This team member will report to the Brand & Communications Team Lead & will be based out of our French office.
- Help plan & work cross-functionally with team members in Paris & Boston to coordinate all initiatives related to our booth, PR, and event experience for the Consumer Electronics Show (CES).
- Manage all operational tasks under the close guidance of the Brand & Comms team lead (eg: order team apparel, order event goodies, print leaflets, ship marketing materials, coordinating product samples to reporters).
- Lead the communication with all internal team members prior to CES (eg: create team email group, share tips / updates / regular reminders).
- Propose creative ideas to engage visitors on our booth during CES highlighting the Withings brand, mission, and key products & help drive consideration & conversions for our products during and after the event.
You will report to the B2C Brand Marketing Team Leader and work cross-functionally with other brand marketing team members managing PR, advertising, influence & partnerships, as well as the broader marketing & sales teams (studio & content, retail sales, CRM, product marketing, web), and the engineering & technical team members to create custom product experiences for our booth during CES.
Requirements
- Student on a masters degree
- Ability to work for a 6-month term
- A strong working knowledge and/or fluency in both French & English (note - close collaboration with both French and US-based team members will be required for this role)
- At ease in an international environment
- Positive and enthusiastic spirit, with a go-getter attitude, and excitement to work cross-functionally to come up with creative solutions & ideas
- Rigor and drive to deliver excellence through collaboration, while also confident enough to work autonomously to get smaller tasks done efficiently & within a timely manner
- Ability to bring both creativity and analytical mindset to projects
- Flexibility for various types of projects
- Ability to create high quality analyses and presentations with google slides, google sheets, figma, notion
